Kakao Focuses on Hiring Server Developers for Account Platform Team

Kakao is actively hiring server developers for its Account Platform Team. This team builds and operates a platform that connects Kakao and third-party services through accounts, including OAuth 2.0-based social login services such as Kakao Login.

Recruitment is underway in two organizations: the API Platform Division and the Account Development Division. The API Platform Division is responsible for developing and operating API platforms that handle high-volume traffic, requiring experience with technologies such as Java, Spring Framework, MySQL, Docker, and Kubernetes. The Account Development Division works on developing sign-up and login systems, account security, and legacy system improvements, seeking talent proficient in diverse backend stacks including Hadoop, Ruby on Rails, Python, and Elastic Search.

Both divisions require a minimum of 3 years of backend development experience and prioritize technical judgment that considers service stability and scalability. In particular, the Account Development Division offers an environment focused on incident handling and security enhancement while managing the largest user data scale in South Korea.
