From Vagueness to Clarity

Simple design goes beyond a product's appearance; it means creating the easiest and simplest path for users to achieve their goals. To this end, complex requirements are refined through a process called Vagueness to Clarity.

The process begins with a vague idea. Through the process of gathering information by continuously asking questions about the product's purpose, users, and use cases, one inevitably enters the Complexity stage.

To overcome the complexity at this stage, close collaboration with engineers is key. Through Prototyping, solutions are proposed and technical challenges are understood, which raises mutual understanding between engineers and designers.

Finally, a stage of simplifying by removing unnecessary elements is needed. At this point, rather than an expert's perspective, a Beginner's mind is maintained, focusing on removing all friction that hinders users from achieving their goals.
