Singular Bank Speeds Up Bankers' Work with ChatGPT and Codex

Singular Bank is a Madrid-based private bank that built an in-house assistant called Singularity using ChatGPT and Codex. The tool analyzes portfolios in real time and helps with meeting preparation and drafting follow-up communications.

The results of the adoption are clear. It saved each banker 60-90 minutes per day, and client meeting preparation was cut to under 1 minute. With less time spent gathering materials, bankers can spend more time on consultation and advice.

The key features are as follows.

• Portfolio analysis: Detects concentration risk, excessive exposure, and portfolio imbalances in real time.
• Recommended actions: Suggests next steps such as reducing positions, taking profits, or rebalancing.
• Post-meeting processing: Generates personalized follow-up emails and next tasks.

The time savings are also concrete.

• Meeting preparation: roughly 20 minutes -> under 1 minute
• Call reports: 15-20 minutes -> under 30 seconds
• Drafting investment rationale: 10-15 minutes -> about 20 seconds
• Client communications: 5-10 minutes -> under 30 seconds

Over 30 days, bankers processed more than 3,500 tasks, averaging about 120 per day across 19 workflows. Because outputs are captured through approved data sources and structured workflows, this improves not only speed but also traceability and reliability for regulatory reporting.

CEO Javier Marín emphasized that AI is not replacing bankers, but is a tool that strengthens their judgment and client engagement.
