Building the Cloud of the Future

LY Corporation is operating Flava, a new private cloud platform that integrates the cloud services of Yahoo! JAPAN and LINE into one.

The main goal is to revolutionize developer experience through Flavaization. Currently, various platforms such as permission management, logging, and monitoring are fragmented, requiring developers to learn different approaches for each, but the plan is to integrate these into a cloud service with a consistent UX and complete this within the next 1-2 years.

It also focuses on implementing Usable Security that is both strong and convenient. By implementing internal security governance directly at the platform level, the aim is to shorten the lead time required to set up a secure environment and minimize the network latency that occurs when applying VPC ACL, thereby securing both security and convenience at the same time.
