Quickly View ChatGPT Question History (Extension Development Story)

Won Jun-su, a developer responsible for Web3 service backend at SK Planet, developed and released a Chrome extension to solve the inconvenience of navigating conversation history while using ChatGPT.

In the existing ChatGPT interface, the longer a conversation gets, the more scrolling is required to find previous questions and answers, and CTRL+F search was also inefficient due to duplicate keywords. To improve this, the developer implemented a UI that lets users grasp their questions at a glance, along with a feature that instantly jumps to the corresponding question location when clicked.

Since the extension does not require user information, the Chrome Web Store approval process was completed in just one day, and the developer noted that providing ideas to GPT allowed him to quickly implement the program. He emphasized that the speed of turning ideas into reality using AI tools has increased, and mentioned plans to utilize them even more actively going forward.
