SK Planet Hosts Promptathon Using In-House Multi-LLM Playground

In the summer of 2024, SK Planet launched a pilot Multi-LLM Playground to boost AI utilization among its employees, and ran a Promptathon event using it. Led by the development team, the playground was designed to allow comparison testing of 10 or more models — including OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, and Naver — on a single screen.

Previously, the main pain points were the Context Switching caused by moving between different LLM providers' sites and the difficulty of comparing cost and speed. The playground supports model selection by providing parameter adjustment features such as Temperature and Top_p, along with real-time input/output token costs and response speed.

The Promptathon, run in collaboration with the support team, was themed around AI Characterization — reinterpreting the company's own service characters, such as OK Cashbag and Syrup, as AI. Participants defined the personas of the characters through prompt engineering, with people from various roles, including data analysts and developers, taking part and sharing their results. This effort goes beyond simply providing a tool, serving as part of a broader push to spread a culture of AI utilization within the company.
