SK Planet Introduces ChatGPT-Based 'Ogeul Bot' to OK Cashbag Community... New Writers Increase 4x

SK Planet significantly expanded user engagement by introducing 'Ogeul Bot,' an AI comment bot integrating ChatGPT(gpt-4o), into OK Cashbag's community service 'Ogeul Ogeul.' Initially, to prevent posts from receiving zero comments, the company implemented a feature that immediately posts a first comment when a post is written, resulting in the daily average number of new post writers increasing from 17 to over 80, roughly a 4x increase.

Improved Accuracy Through Function Call

The initial version of Ogeul Bot had a hallucination problem, generating nonexistent information when asked about restaurants or locations. To solve this, the Function Call feature was added to integrate with the Naver Search API. When a user asks a location-based question, ChatGPT requests a function call, and the server passes the Naver search results back to generate an accurate response.

Expanded Conversational Features and Operating Strategy

Beyond simple first comments, an '@Ogeul Bot' summon feature and reply interaction functionality were added to maintain conversation flow within the community. On the operations side, the System Prompt was designed to be editable in real time from the admin page, allowing flexible management of tone-and-manner and response quality suited to different situations. Through this, the service achieved high user engagement and activation relative to its development difficulty.
