Learning Never Ends: How AI Makes Learning Sustainable

OpenAI published a report analyzing how students continue learning outside the classroom using ChatGPT. Previously, it was difficult to receive immediate feedback when questions or help were needed, but AI overcomes these limitations by providing guidance and practice at any time.

Privacy-preserving analysis results show that 70 million conversations per week across all age groups are used for knowledge testing and misconception checks. In the US, prompts related to class and homework exceed 460 million per week during the semester, peaking on Sunday nights. During vacation periods, the volume remains above 180 million per week.

This continuous learning provides students with immediate help in subjects such as algebra, assists teachers with adjusting assignment levels and reducing administrative tasks, and offers multilingual households appropriate language communication to support their children's learning. While AI cannot replace teachers' judgment or parents' encouragement, it contributes to expanding personalized support under appropriate guidelines.
