Conversational AI, GenFM Launch and Market Expansion News

ElevenLabs announced a range of new products including Conversational AI, which supports real-time voice interaction, and GenFM (an ElevenReader update), which generates personalized podcasts.

Key updates include the following:

• Conversational AI: A real-time conversation tool that combines knowledge bases, functions, and triggers to build custom agents, allowing integration of the user's own LLM and selection of a preferred voice.
• Projects: A collaborative audio editor for producing long-form content such as audiobooks or scripts, offering version control and paragraph locking features.
• GenFM (ElevenReader): Converts PDFs, articles, books, and more into high-quality AI podcasts supporting 32 languages. The Iconic Voices Collection, featuring voices of famous figures such as Maya Angelou and Richard Feynman, has also been expanded.
• Workspaces: A collaboration feature that supports team-based resource sharing and multi-user access.

In addition, revenue sharing through the Voice Library has surpassed $1 million, demonstrating that a sustainable revenue model is being provided to voice contributors.

For global market expansion, ElevenLabs plans to invest $11 million over five years in Poland to establish an R&D center and EU headquarters in Warsaw. In the India market as well, the company plans to accelerate growth by building local leadership and focusing on support for Indic languages and technology localization.
