Woowa Brothers Hosts First 'Woowa Tech Day' to Promote Internal Tech Sharing Culture

Woowa Brothers' TechDevEX team hosted the first internal tech conference, 'Woowa Tech Day', to activate a company-wide tech sharing culture beyond just the development roles. Unlike the existing external event WoowaCon, this event focused on deep technical context sharing among internal members and sharing use cases accumulated during the AI Transformation (AX) process.

Event Scale and Structure

Held at Baemin Startup Square in Pangyo, the event attracted approximately 300 participants, with a total of 28 presentations across 6 tracks. Presentations were selected through open recruitment and had the character of 'Connection, Sharing, Festival', emphasizing honest sharing of trial and error and concerns rather than polished success stories. The program included general presentations, discussion sessions, and lightning talks to broaden the range of topics.

AI Usage and Non-Developer Participation

Participants shared various AI-related topics such as AI prompt writing, workflow improvement, and harness engineering. Notably, non-developer roles garnered attention by directly creating the event website and a 'Prompt Speedrun' game using vibe coding. This demonstrated that AI is breaking down role boundaries, and surveys also showed continued requests for expanded participation from non-developer roles.

Analog Events and Networking

To reduce digital fatigue, an analog game zone featuring traditional games like tuho (arrow throwing) and ddakji (paper flipping) was operated. Additionally, 'Prompt Speedrun' added a competitive element by displaying real-time rankings, and a lucky draw system linked with session participation to enhance immersion. The event served as an opportunity to strengthen inter-organizational networking and establish an internal tech sharing culture.
