Burda Signs Strategic Partnership for Audio AI and Voice Agent Solutions

BurdaVerlag is integrating enterprise AI audio tools into its AI platform AISSIST through a strategic partnership with ElevenLabs. Through this collaboration, AISSIST will offer audio capabilities optimized for media workflows, including text-to-speech (TTS), audio production, and voice agent solutions.

After its internal rollout in 2023, AISSIST has been used by more than 2,500 employees and was launched externally for enterprises in July 2025. The platform supports the following features in a single interface:

• Text generation and editing, document chat, translation
• Audio transcription, image generation
• Automated multi-step workflows

Leveraging ElevenLabs' technology, AISSIST will feature realistic voice models available in 32 languages and conversational voice agent capabilities. As digital interfaces shift toward voice-centric experiences, the two companies plan to work together to help publishing and media teams quickly adopt these technologies.
