A New Way to Create and Get Work Done in Google Workspace

With more than 4 billion users on Google Workspace, Google unveiled the image app Google Pics, AI Inbox, and the personal agent Gemini Spark, alongside Gmail, Docs, and Keep.

The core idea is a flow that lets you search, write, organize, and act by voice.

• Gmail Live lets you search your inbox by voice to instantly find answers like a flight's gate number or a school schedule.
• Docs Live lets you draft and structure documents by voice, and, with permission, pull in relevant information from Gmail, Drive, Chat, and the web.
• Keep takes down your thoughts as they come to you and organizes them into notes and lists.

These voice features are rolling out to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers, and will expand to a preview for Google Workspace business customers this summer.

Google Pics is a creation and editing app built on the latest Nano Banana model. It uses object segmentation to move or resize specific elements, lets you directly edit or translate text within images, and supports Slides and Drive integration along with shared-canvas collaboration.

Pics launched today to a select group of Trusted Testers first, and will expand to a preview for Google AI Pro/Ultra subscribers and Workspace business customers worldwide this summer.

AI Inbox has added personalized draft replies, instant surfacing of file links, and the ability to complete, dismiss, or bulk-mark tasks as read. It's currently available in preview to Google AI Ultra subscribers and Workspace Enterprise Plus, and rollout has also begun for Google AI Plus and Pro subscribers in the US, along with new features.

Lastly, Gemini Spark is a personal AI agent that runs 24/7 within the Gemini app. It carries out tasks on your behalf based on your instructions, such as sending emails or adding calendar events, but asks for confirmation first on high-risk tasks, and also integrates with Workspace apps.
