SK Planet Shares 3 Years of Running Its In-House Tech Seminar 'DTC'

SK Planet looked back on the operation of Data & Tech Committee (DTC), which it has run as an in-house tech-sharing culture activity for the past 3 years, and shared the on-site atmosphere from the recently held 'Age of AI - the Future of Work' talk. DTC started as an executive-focused meeting in its early days and has now expanded into a company-wide tech community that shares field cases in development, infrastructure, data, and UX, with participation extending even to non-developer roles.

For its operating approach, SK Planet adopted a One Topic strategy, focusing on a single theme each month to boost engagement. It runs both the in-house Teams and Zoom for external participation in parallel, and encourages engagement through an event where questions are collected during the planning stage and answered during the talk. The presentation content is repurposed into the in-house blog 'Tech Topic', where it accumulates as a knowledge asset.

Notably, in November 2024, SK Planet invited Park Jong-jong, author of 『Surviving as a Developer』, for an offline talk attended by about 200 employees. The talk, which covered changes in work and career strategy in the era of generative AI, received a strong response, and SK Planet plans to keep growing as a tech insight platform by further inviting outside experts and strengthening networking going forward.
