xAI and El Salvador to Launch World's First Nationwide AI Education Program

xAI has partnered with the government of El Salvador to launch the world's first nationwide AI education program. Over the next 2 years, Grok will be deployed in more than 5,000 public schools, providing personalized learning to over 1 million students and supporting thousands of teachers as collaborative partners.

The program aims to deliver adaptive, curriculum-linked tutoring that adjusts to each student's pace, preferences, and proficiency. It will provide tailored education to students regardless of whether they are in urban or rural areas, and will jointly develop a model for AI classroom use that reflects local context, safety, and human-centered impact.

xAI explained that this collaboration aligns with its mission of scientific discovery and expanding knowledge. President Nayib Bukele and Elon Musk each emphasized AI-driven education and the nationwide rollout of Grok, stating that this partnership will become a symbol of educational innovation.
