Upstage's Solar LLM Integrated into Sendbird's No-Code Generative AI Chatbot

Upstage has integrated Solar into Sendbird's no-code generative AI chatbot. Enterprise customers will now be able to quickly deploy chatbots on their websites and mobile apps without separate large-scale engineering work.

Solar is described as a compact model with 10.7B parameters that nonetheless delivers high performance across various NLP tasks. Notably, it ranked first on the Hugging Face Open LLM Leaderboard last December, and it reportedly outperformed the larger Mixtral 8x7B model as well.

Sendbird is a communication platform that connects 300 million users worldwide with more than 4,000 companies every month. By attaching Solar's API to this platform, the plan is to provide more accurate and personalized responses in customer support and customer experience areas, and to expand into various industries such as finance, commerce, and customer management.
