Voice AI for Greece

ElevenLabs and the Greek government have signed a strategic partnership to introduce voice AI for public services, tourism, and the preservation of Greek language heritage. The collaboration centers on three key areas.

• Digital Governance and Public Services: Voice AI will be applied to government call centers and the integrated digital portal gov.gr. This will improve accessibility, making it easier for the Greek diaspora and citizens who have difficulty using the internet to access government services in multiple languages.
• Tourism: The reach of the official travel portal Visitgreece.gr will be expanded, along with marketing campaigns using distinctive voices and new platforms for mountain, marine, gastronomy, and wellness tourism.
• Language Heritage Preservation: Regional dialects spoken by minority communities will be preserved. The first project will begin with the Cretan dialect before expanding further, with the Athena Research Center participating as a local partner.

In Greece, major companies such as Alpha Bank, Sfakianakis Group, and BOX NOW are already using ElevenLabs to strengthen customer support, and media companies like Kathimerini and Skai TV are also using it for content production.
