Upstage Strengthens AI Transformation Business with McKinsey Alumni Hires

Upstage has hired Kim Su-ho as an advisor and Kwon Sun-il as AI Business Strategy and Development Leader, both formerly of McKinsey & Company. Following technology advancement, the company is now reinforcing its management consulting and business development capabilities, aiming to more quickly support AI adoption across diverse industries including finance, education, IT, and manufacturing.

Advisor Kim Su-ho studied Business Administration at Seoul National University and earned an MIT MBA, and worked as a Partner at McKinsey's Seoul office and as a Korea Financial Services Leader, advising on DT, M&A, product portfolios, and new business strategy in the financial sector. Leader Kwon Sun-il previously served as a team leader at McKinsey and as Northeast Asia business strategy lead at Element AI, and will now oversee Upstage's business strategy and AI business development for client companies. Upstage stated that it is currently receiving AI solution inquiries from over 100 companies.
